Teacher Resources, Collaboration

The council for exceptional children website has resources that, among other things, help a teacher figure out how to teach cooperatively. The following links take me to places I'm interested in:

For starting teachers, Ann Welch has some helpful strategies to begin networking, so you don't all have to reinvent the wheel.
Also for starting teachers, this article leads you through the process of finding your mentor.
Marie Huggins shares stories about co-teaching, so you can go into the practice with open eyes.
Sometimes a teacher will have another adult in the room who isn't a full teacher. If you have a paraprofessional, you have to be a manager as well as a teacher. This article by Nancy French gives some guidelines on how to handle the situation.
